Job Description

The Italian Bakery Wareham is seeking a full time or part time enthusiastic and dedicated Bakery Shop Assistant to deliver exceptional, counter service to all our customers. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for food and a passion for serving and working with people. Shift patterns would be early morning to mid afternoon.

We are a well-known, busy bakery coffee shop, proudly serving our artisan hot and cold fresh bakery produce, cakes and a variety of hot/cold drinks.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Greeting all customers in a friendly and professional manner Serve customers from the counter and table service Use EPOS till system Provide product information and recommendations Delivering exceptional customer service to all our customers Ensure high standard of compliance with health & safety and hygiene guidelines including allergens. Support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment

We are looking for:

Excellent customer service skills, with a great smile Passionate about food and confident in dealing with the public Previous experience within a bakery shop or customer service role Passion and enthusiasm Positive attitude Great communication skills Be able to work in a busy environment and think on their feet Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and varying shifts

We are open 7 days a week and shifts vary but start from 7/8am and we close at 4pm therefore there is a variety of hours available between these times.
