Baling Operative on a Monday - Friday shift (06:00 hours to 16:00 hours)

Elkesley, near Retford DN22 8BT

The Baling Operative Role:

This is a varied role in production, baling wood shavings produced as sawmill residues.

You will operate the baling machine and will also be required to assist in general plant duties, including cleaning and maintaining the machinery.

Other duties include changing the films of the products as and when needed, setting and reviewing the machinery including the robot, printer and wrapper to ensure they are working correctly.

You will also be expected to help clean out the inside of trailers, make up pallets and load stock using a FLT. You will also be required to load the hopper.

The Baling Operative role will involve some manual handling.

Key skills and experience needed to become our Baling Operative:

Previous experience of operating a FLT is essential, along with a valid FLT licence.

- Previous experience of operating a loading shovel, along with a valid loading shovel licence is desirable.

Full training will be given to suitable candidates. Candidates with previous experience of operating production plant are desirable.
