Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care to critically ill individuals in the ICU setting. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care principles, particularly in critical care settings. Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat patients. Expertise in medication administration, including dosage calculations and potential side effects. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and prioritising tasks effectively. Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and support during challenging situations.
