Berelands House

is looking to recruit a

Activities Coordinator

to join the team.This is a bankrole which includes weekends shifts.



Berelands House Care Home is located in the town of Prestwick, South Ayrshire, Scotland. Our home offers specialist nursing and dementia support for 63 adults, with 24-hour input from registered nurses. We can also offer end of life/palliative care and respite services.


We aim to provide residents with a secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance. Staff strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a warm and caring environment, and in so doing will be sensitive to the resident's ever-changing needs.


In addition to supporting adults with dementia, we can also assist those who have a multitude of other conditions, presentations and needs.

What you'll be doing





You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

Participate in site wide programmes and activities, and in other home programmes, with the agreement of line manager Observe, record and report resident involvement in activities Prepare, plan and deliver a wide range of activities and programmes that are
tailored to meet the needs and abilities of the individual, whilst also providing group activities and programmes that will bring the individuals together
Able to creatively plan activities to meet the needs of service users
