As one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK; we are seeking Children's Residential Support Workers to join our teams within our complex trauma children's homes.

Opportunity to be enrolled onto a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young people's workforce, which is a national recognised qualification within the industry and profession of children's residential services. This is worth over 6k and fully funded.


The children in our care range between the ages of 8-18 years of age on admission and come from adverse backgrounds. This may include; neglect, physical harm, emotional and behavioural issues, substance misuse, domestic violence.


You will be involved in all aspects of their everyday life, such as household duties, transporting the children to different provisions, paperwork and making positive differences in their lives. We all have the same purpose: To enable all people in our care to achieve their personal best.


Duties:


Providing transport for the young people to access different provisions Making sure the young person in your care has taken their daily medication Helping the young people access education Household duties Paperwork Days out (social events, shopping, cinema, swimming) Contacts, visits, key work meeting and therapy sessions Offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives

Requirements:


Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle Flexibility to work shifts which will include long days and sleep ins We are looking for people who have life skills, having experience with children or health and social care would benefit but this is NOT essential for us at Cambian as full training and support is provided
