We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in spinal injury care to join our team on a bank basis. You will support the delivery of high-quality care by carrying out client reviews, spot checks on staff, training, and the sign-off of delegated tasks and competencies.
This is a flexible role, ideal for a skilled nurse who is passionate about maintaining excellent standards of care and supporting care teams to deliver safe, effective practice.
Responsibilities
Conduct client reviews and ensure care plans remain safe, person-centred, and clinically appropriate.
Carry out spot checks on care workers to ensure compliance with care standards.
Deliver training and competency assessments for delegated healthcare tasks.
Provide expert guidance on bowel management, continence care, autonomic dysreflexia (AD), and pain management.
Work closely with managers and families to promote safe and effective practice.
Skills
Current NMC registration (RGN/RN)
Proven experience in spinal injury care
Skilled in bowel management, continence care, autonomic dysreflexia, and pain management
Confident in delivering training and assessing staff competencies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Flexible and reliable, with a commitment to high-quality care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24.00-25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
