compassionate and dedicated Bank Residential Support Workers

to join our team at a

4-bedded children's home

in Benfleet. As the number of children in the home increases, there will be an opportunity for

permanent employment

About the Role

As a

Bank Residential Support Worker

, you will provide

essential care and support

to children and young people, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. You will work closely with the team to promote

positive outcomes, independence, and emotional well-being

for each child.

Key Responsibilities

? Provide

day-to-day care, support, and guidance

to children and young people.
? Support

individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies

.
? Foster a

safe and therapeutic environment

to help young people thrive.
? Encourage independence and help children build

essential life skills

.
? Work closely with the team to ensure a

consistent and high standard of care

.
? Maintain accurate records and contribute to

care planning

.
? Follow all

Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and procedures

.

What We're Looking For

?

Previous experience

working with children and young people in a

residential

(essential).
? A

caring, resilient, and child-focused

approach.
? Understanding of

safeguarding and child protection

.
? A flexible and adaptable attitude to work

bank shifts

as required.
? Ability to work

12-hour day shifts or 14-hour day shifts + sleep-in

.
? Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
