bank nurses for our care home in Bearsden. Abbotsford House has been supporting staff to provide excellent care for over 30 years.

Job Role

The company has an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care

You will lead, mentor and motivate a team of senior carers and care assistants to ensure the residents physical, social and psychological needs are assessed and met

You will delegate and handover safely and effectively

You will assess the residents to develop, implement and evaluate their care plans. You will keep accurate records and conduct handovers.

You will have autonomy within the remit of your role but also support from the Manager and company directors

You will employ knowledge of clinical tools such as The Waterlow Score to monitor and improve the health of residents

The company will support and provide opportunities for your continued professional development

We are seeking excellent candidates who possess the following skills to join our dedicated team:

Person Specification:

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

Required

NMC registration Basic IT skills (specific training on our software will be provided at induction)

Desirable

Band 6 or Band 5 with at least 1 year experience. Although we would consider mentoring a newly qualified nurse Experience in Nursing Homes or medicine of the elderly
