Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team as Banked Staff. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including out in the community, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care, particularly for individuals with specific needs such as dementia, autism and LD.

Responsibilities

Provide support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning and meal preparation. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users by following hygiene protocols and safety guidelines. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as per organisational policies.

Requirements

A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. Relevant qualifications in health and social care would be an advantage but are not essential as training will be provided.

Pay: 10.48-12.48 per hour
