Summary

We are seeking a talented Banquet Chef to join our culinary team at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes for our banquet events, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquet events according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and coordinate food preparation for large events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or banquet setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
