Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, organisation, and execution of events within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing banquet staff, coordinating with kitchen teams, and ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly.

Duties

Lead and supervise the banquet team to ensure high standards of service and presentation. Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for events. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary. Assist in the training and development of staff in culinary skills, bartending, and customer service. Ensure that all banquet areas are clean, organised, and well-maintained before, during, and after events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service. Handle any issues or complaints that arise during events in a professional manner.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Experience in food preparation and production within a banquet or catering environment. Proficient in supervising staff to maintain high service standards. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
