Cardiff Golf Centre has been in operation since 1997, starting off with a small shop and driving range. As a rapidly growing business we have developed the centre to include adventure golf, footgolf and a softplay area. Over the years we have developed a stellar reputation for and now pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and high quality products.

We will soon be opening our exciting new cafe / bar and as a result we are looking to fill several new positions in our team.

Job Overview

The role is for weekend and evening work

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar & Cafe staff to join us, and as part of our bar team, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks, food and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Service of food Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the till effectively. Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A genuine interest in hospitality and providing excellent customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Bartending experience is a plus, but we welcome individuals eager to learn and grow within the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 hours per week
