Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety standards. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a memorable experience for our patrons while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations where appropriate Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting the kitchen team as needed Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages Support catering events or private functions as required, delivering excellent service throughout

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is preferred; restaurant or barista experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as necessary A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
