Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and engaging positively with patrons. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills in a professional setting. Ability to work weekends essential.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards. Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glasses and sanitising surfaces regularly. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system. Engage with customers in a friendly manner to create a welcoming atmosphere. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and patrons.

Experience

Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods. A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude towards customer service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the business needs.
