We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a lively environment. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the bar.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting the kitchen team with food production and presentation.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control, ensuring that all supplies are adequately replenished.
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Uphold high standards of customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Work with the GM on advertising the business and driving it to the next level by using social media advertising, creating new events , menu design etc.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospitality or bar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
A genuine passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about food production techniques.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
