Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.
Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Supervise junior staff members, offering guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Manage team dynamics effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
Culinary experience or food production knowledge is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
Experience in supervising staff or team management is preferred.
A background in hospitality or hotel experience will be beneficial.
Barista experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
