We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a hospitality environment. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across various departments, including culinary and food production, while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise daily operations within the hotel and bar ensuring all departments function efficiently. Manage kitchen staff and culinary operations, including food production and quality control. Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service to guests. Oversee bartending activities and maintain compliance with food safety regulations. Coordinate with team members to ensure effective communication and teamwork across departments. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health standards. Provide training and support to staff in areas of team management, food safety, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong background in culinary operations or food production is highly desirable. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
