We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, food preparation, and team management. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of bartenders and support staff while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership skills will help create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in service.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling stock to minimise waste. Train, mentor, and develop bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Create innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food production for bar service. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and budgeting for the bar.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
