Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to join our award winning team in delivering exceptional service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food and drinks and a commitment to maintaining high standards and quality for guests. You will be responsible for overseeing bar operations, managing staff, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.

As we are a working distillery an interest in learning more about Spirits production and gin is a key part of the job.

The role can be flexible with full time or part time options and hourly pay available

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Monitor financial performance of the bar, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising a bar or restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail preparation. Strong previous experience with food service and running a team. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
