We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bar management, with the ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining an inviting atmosphere for our members and guests.
This role requires a blend of leadership, drive and a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations, particularly licensing standards
-Trusted Key Holder responsible for cash management and the opening/close procedures for the bar and premises.
- Supervise, motivate, recruit and train bar staff in bartending techniques and customer service.
- Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or feedback promptly to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and function area, adhering to hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the bar.
Experience
- Proven experience in a bar supervisor/manager role with a strong understanding of bar operations.
- Previous supervisory experience in preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both service delivery and inventory management.
