We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar within a vibrant hotel and restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and beverage quality. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar team, optimising the bar's performance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the bar team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and adherence to recipes. Develop innovative drink menus that reflect current trends while catering to guest preferences. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock without overstocking. Train staff on proper bartending techniques, customer service skills, and product knowledge to enhance guest experiences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, particularly during food production times.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar management role within a hotel or restaurant environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with a track record of effective team management and development. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour
