We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service in a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bar staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Duties
Supervise and lead the bar team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and health regulations in all aspects of food preparation and service.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock to minimise waste and control costs.
Develop creative drink menus and collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the overall dining experience.
Assist in training staff on mixology techniques, customer service skills, and product knowledge to elevate service quality.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a bar or restaurant setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff development.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of current trends in the hospitality industry will be advantageous.
