Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for food and drink. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patrons.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste. Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards in all aspects of bar operations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budgeting for bar operations.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. Background in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with serving techniques and barista skills will be an advantage. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team. A passion for hospitality coupled with outstanding communication skills.
