We are excited to announce the opening of a brand new venue with a stunning city centre location we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to be apart of the opening or an Irish bar with an American twist.

The Bar Manager role is guaranteed to be challenging and rewarding each and every day. With so many moving parts to the venue, from daytime food to late night live music, large corporate parties to Christmas bookings, the venue is a great place for a Bar Manager who is wanting to progress and develop their career in the industry.

As Bar Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate passion and energy as you lead and train the Bar team. Cocktail experience is a must as you'll need to be able to design and implement new cocktail offerings as well as train them into the team. A passion for beer is vital as we will be looking to bring in guest lines both on draught and in packaged. Experience with coffee would be advantageous.

The role will also be required to support the AGM and GM in all daily duties.

Main Roles & Responsibilities



Leading by example, pitching in to help with drink mixing or table service where necessary Ensuring that the bar is fully staffed, particularly during peak times Meeting sales and profitability targets Creating a welcoming environment for customers Ensuring consistent, high quality beverages are served to customers Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development Monitoring inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area and paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations Recruiting, training and motivating staff Keeping up to date with licensing legislation and taking legal responsibility for the premises Ensuring beer and wine are kept in good condition Dealing with any customers issues that may arise Bar Health & Safety Audits Managing the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current alcohol license, taking inventory and reordering stock, and setting goals for all the staff Organising incentives for the staff Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to all staff Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours. Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons Planning and taking part in promotional events Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons. Looking at the stock report and actioning the deficits and issues Maintain a healthy external stock takers audit
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
