Bar Manager

to lead the bar in the opening of our first London pub in

Shepherd's Bush

. As part of a renowned pub group with 5 successful locations across the

We are expanding and need someone who shares our commitment to exceptional service, top-quality food, and a great atmosphere.

We focus on a straightforward, well sourced, wine, beer & spirit selection, Good, classic, nose to tail, British pub style food, plenty of game & offal and very little 'mucking around'.. Not a micro herb in sight and

definitely no tweezers.

Duties



Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to service standards. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while managing costs effectively. Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and health and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious pairings between food and beverages. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Organise promotional events to enhance the pub's profile within the community.

Experience



Proven experience in a bar management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of bartending practices, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience in food preparation or culinary operations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer engagement. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 37,000.00 per year
