Bar Manager
Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Bar Manager where you will oversee the daily operations of our bar. As a key leader, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences, drive sales, and maintain high standards of service and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example in greeting and welcoming guests with professionalism and warmth
- Manage food and drink orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Provide top-notch customer service to guarantee guest satisfaction
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote menu items and specials for increased revenue
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests' tables
- Address guest needs promptly, resolving any issues or concerns effectively
- Handle payment transactions accurately and manage cash transactions securely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all work areas
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, culinary techniques, and food production processes
- Experience in bartending is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in team management and customer service
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
- Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate handling of payments and change
- Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask efficiently
