Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team in delivering exceptional service and a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of beverage management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar, overseeing staff, and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Quality control - we pride ourselves on high quality service and products Supervising staff - ensuring required tasks are complete, service runs smoothly, floor and bar areas are managed appropriately Cleaning & stock management - cleaning is kept up to date and staff are keeping up with what's required, ordering and keeping on top of stock appropriately, supplier engagement Customer engagement - This is crucial, we have a large number of regulars (now good friends) Business monitoring - price and GDP management, rotas, staff hours Product innovation - new cocktail ideas, beer recommendations, event ideas Social media - replying to messages, social media posts, art sales management

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within a bar or restaurant environment. Cocktail, spirit, beer and wine knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining standards Fun personality Proactive approach Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
