Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Serving Drinks:
Preparing and serving a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.Taking Orders:
Taking orders from customers, either at the bar or at tables, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.Handling Cash and Card Payments:
Processing payments for drinks, providing change, and balancing cash registers.Maintaining a Clean Bar:
Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies, including ice, mixers, and glassware.Customer Service:
Providing friendly and efficient service to customers, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.Inventory Management:
Restocking the bar with drinks and supplies as needed.Age Verification:
Checking customers' identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age.Safety and Compliance:
Adhering to health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.Additional Duties:
Table Service:
Serving drinks to customers at tables, often involving carrying trays and ensuring a tidy table.Event Coordination:
Assisting with the organization of special events, such as quiz nights or live music.Menu Knowledge:
Familiarizing themselves with the bar menu, including drink specials and new offerings.Cocktail Preparation:
Developing and perfecting cocktail recipes.Training:
Training new bar staff on procedures and drink preparation techniques.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
