Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring exceptional service.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure compliance with licensing laws regarding alcohol service. Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of drink preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices within the restaurant industry. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-16.98 per hour
