Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bar and Restaurant Manager who can also operate in the Hotel Reception. All Seasons Philipburn is a quality rural hotel and the applicant needs to be an "all rounder". The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bar and restaurant operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.

- Be skilled and competent in the operation of property management systems and the accurate charging of customer accounts.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and increase sales

- Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service

- Create innovative cocktail menus and ensure high-quality beverage service

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws

- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner

Experience

The successful candidate should have:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, including bartending, food production, and food preparation

- Experience in using hotel property management systems

- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff

- A background in culinary arts or experience working in a kitchen would be advantageous

- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets

- Must have or be willing to obtain a personal licence under the Licensing Act
