Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to provide a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns regarding food or drink orders. Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing attentive service and anticipating customer needs. Adhere to all food safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of our guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. A passion for serving customers and enhancing their dining experience is essential.
