Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our new buffet restaurant, opening in July.

As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold high standards of hospitality, providing help and support to colleagues as needed. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with bartending techniques and beverage preparation is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with guests.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
