Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our bran new opening. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve crafting beverages, managing orders, and maintaining the bar area to uphold our high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, providing recommendations when necessary. Manage cash and card transactions, demonstrating basic maths skills for accurate billing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers seated at the bar. Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, providing excellent hospitality at all times. Monitor customer behaviour and adhere to responsible service of alcohol policies. Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
