Overview - Commercial Bar & Hotel

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in training new staff members as required, sharing your knowledge of bartending techniques and hospitality best practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is highly valued. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A basic understanding of bartending techniques and drink preparation is beneficial, along with effective time management skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.51 per hour
