Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till, applying basic math skills for accurate billing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communicate effectively regarding food orders. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. A solid understanding of food safety practices is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
