Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Basic bartending skills or willingness to learn new techniques is desirable. A friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 8.00-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
