Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drink specials and food pairings. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service. Keep the bar area clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service hours. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Proficient in serving techniques and knowledgeable about various beverages. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A positive attitude and strong communication skills to engage effectively with both customers and team members.
