Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is advantageous. Understanding of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for guests. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.20-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
