This job IS NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS as it is a full time, permanent position beyond the end of the Summer! Applicants MUST have 1yrs Bar experience and be able to work evenings and weekend!

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall experience of our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and well-stocked. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining high service standards. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality and helping others. Basic bartending skills are desirable but can be developed on the job. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
