The Three Tuns - a historic pub at the heart of Bishops Castle - is due to re-open very soon, and we're excited to be building a brand-new team to join us on this journey. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated

Bar & Waiting Staff

to help bring the pub back to life. This is a varied role where you'll be serving drinks behind the bar, waiting on tables, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm welcome and great service.

Responsibilities

Serve a wide range of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) with care and consistency. Take food and drink orders at tables, ensuring guests have everything they need. Deliver food and drinks promptly, with attention to presentation and customer experience. Keep the bar, tables, and service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked. Engage warmly with customers, offering recommendations and answering questions. Handle cash and card transactions accurately. Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth, efficient service. Follow responsible service and food safety practices at all times.

Skills & Qualities

A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service. Friendly, approachable, and confident with people of all ages. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure. Basic numeracy for handling payments. Previous bar or waiting experience is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
