We are starting our recruitment for the newest place in town which is set to open shortly. This will be the sister bar to the venue "The Bar".

We are seeking an experianced bartenders and front of house to join our team at the new venue in Teignmouth. Bartender experience is highly valued.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is vital in creating memorable experiences for our patrons while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths for tab calculations and change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food orders. Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and provide assistance as needed. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels at the bar.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
