A great opportunity has arisen for a Bartender/Bar Staff/ Front of house member to join The Oakley Arms, an independent 2 AA Rosette foodie pub in Harrold, Bedfordshire.

The pub restaurant is in a beautiful village location offering lunch and dinner Wednesday-Saturday and a traditional roast service on a Sunday.

Produce served is sourced from local farmers, breweries and suppliers. The Oakley offers an exciting and creative environment to work in.

We're in search of an experienced

Bar Staff / Front of House Member

to join our friendly team!

In this role you will be required to manage the bar and serve high quality drinks within a busy restaurant setting- great organisational, prioritisation skills and a strong work ethic are a must! You will also be required to serve front of house from time to time.

What will a normal working week look like?

Serving guests high quality beer, wine, spirits and cocktails Managing and replenishing bar inventory- stock rotation and storage Greeting, seating and interacting with guests Wherever possible to anticipate a guests needs, be helpful and courteous Answering phone calls and managing bookings Assisting the directors/chefs with private functions & special menus

The ideal candidate will possess...

18+

(Deal breaker) Have experience in bar work in a quality pub/restaurant environment Have experience in dealing with fast paced service Be capable of working with minimum supervision Have experience of managing stock Support the recruitment, induction and onboarding of any new team members Passion for food & drink Be passionate about creating a seamless and memorable customer experience
