Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver excellent service during busy periods. Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards. Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service protocols as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. Knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service is essential. Understanding of food safety regulations is beneficial; training will be provided if necessary. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
