We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also contributing to the overall dining experience through your culinary skills and knowledge of food safety.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation and cooking as required, adhering to food safety regulations. Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in service and food production. Manage team dynamics effectively, fostering a collaborative environment among colleagues. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential, with a strong understanding of bar operations. Culinary experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour towards guests. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage, showcasing your ability to lead by example. Barista experience is beneficial for those interested in coffee preparation alongside traditional bar duties.
