We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar/waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service and enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as required, adhering to culinary guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing purposes. Upsell menu items and special promotions to maximise sales opportunities. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to assist in food preparation when necessary. Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues as needed.
