Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently while upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages or needs for reordering. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills to process payments and provide change. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving serving or bar work. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles would be advantageous. Strong time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A friendly demeanour with excellent guest service skills is crucial for creating memorable experiences for patrons.
