We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities
Serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and efficiency
Take orders accurately and process payments using point-of-sale systems
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or bar accompaniments
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
Restock supplies regularly to ensure the bar is fully equipped throughout shifts
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including food handling procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
