Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The Bar Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while collaborating closely with the kitchen team to enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and provide excellent customer service. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every drink served. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that complement food offerings. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws. Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase bar sales and attract new customers. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, striving for complete guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked and presentable at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food production processes and culinary practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques and trends in the industry is preferred.
