We are looking for a full time Bar supervisor to join the team at The Micro Moose, in the heart of Winton.
Someone with cask handling experience is useful but not compulsory. The candidate must be able to work alone and within a team. We are looking for someone dynamic, charismatic and flexible - someone who understands how to deliver excellent customer service whilst keeping on top of operational duties. We will be looking to serve food in the future so food hygiene training and experience serving food would be useful. We want to give an element of autonomy to the selected candidate, allowing them to build on an already lively community pub.
Daily tasks will include but are not limited to, preparing the pub for opening, stock management, cellar management, ensuring our customers are served promptly and closing down at the end of the night.
Duties
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Deliver outstanding service and uphold company standards.
Comfortable with hospitality and sales technology platforms
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Monitor bar cleanliness and organisation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the bar operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in bartending or as a Bar Manager within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A passion for hospitality with a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
