We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing bar staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a high-quality beverage service. The Bar Supervisor will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere while driving sales and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise bar staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health codes. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation. Develop and implement creative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Monitor customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, policies, and training opportunities. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety practices, and culinary techniques. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficiency in bartending techniques and beverage production. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
